ADEUNIS RF, a key player in the world of wireless radio communications, announces the introduction of its new generation of long distance radio modems. These modems have one thing in common - they are self-powered by USB bus. No need for a mains adaptor.
These radio modems are available on 863/870MHz (Europe) and 902/928MHz (America) bands and are certified.
The ARF53 modem is capable of delivering 500mW (+27dBm) of output power with a reception sensitivity of -112dBm with data rates from 1.2kbps up to 57.6kbps.
With highly optimised RF sensitivity, radio communication can take place over several kilometres, even at high bandwidths.
The ARF53 modem thereby offers a higher radio link budget (Transmission power - sensitivity) than all its competitors. It provides point-to-point as well as point-to-multipoint communications with a high degree of reliability, even in the most demanding conditions, and this over several kilometres.
They cover the majority of “long distance” wireless transmission applications, or applications in environments with high interference, in fields of activity as diverse and varied as automation, robotics, teleprocessing, urban traffic regulation, public transport traffic light priority, signposting and variable message sign management.
Note
* New USB interface with a Windows® certified and Vista® compatible driver.
* Option also available for the ARF43 range – Medium distance radio modems.
